Powers / Skills
Rahne is a specific metamorph able to transform from human to wolf... with a transitional incarnation roughly halfway between the two. Although Wolfsbane can transform herself into a wolf, she is not a werewolf; in other words, her power is a natural mutation.
* She shoots a mean game of pool.*
* She is incredibly limber.*

Weaknesses:
*Recently, Rahne has felt an uncontrollable urge to become a wolf and stay away from her home for weeks on end. She’s beginning to get scared that she will permanently become a wolf.*
* Intimacy issues. She has very good friends and is quite social, but once a guy asks her something too personal; she’s out the door.*

Personality:
* Rahne is an Atheist and isn't shy about it. To her, any god who would let what happened to her when she was young, happen, isn't one that exists or deserve her attention. She has no respect for church goers.*
* After her traumatizing childhood, Rahne grew very bitter. It took her adoptive mother to give her the love and care and confidence that Rahne now possesses, but sometimes, she will delve deep into her psyche and recall the abusive time. These are what she calls her ‘dark days’ and she retreats from everything to deal with it. Then, she is able to return to the life she's struggled hard to get. Denial? Yes, a bit, but Rahne feels that this situation calls for it.*
*She, being a serial dater for some time, decided to give it up for a while and was rewarded with a best friend: Doug Ramsey, whom she calls McDougal, or Dougal for short.*
* Rahne, now, after growing up with a loving mother and 'siblings' at Muir Isle, growing confident with her metamorphing powers and finishing her career in college, is quite comfortable in herself and her abilities. She's not the shy preteen she once was, but a confident woman. She feels that because of her rough childhood, it's her mission to help kids in her former situation.*
* Also because of her abilities, she is a bit of a loner. She can live in the woods for weeks and has.*
* Rahne is also not into holidays seeing as most of them are religion based. She uses that time to turn wolf and enjoy the woods. She gets a bit twitchy at holiday family gathering, even though she loves her family and friends more than herself.*
* She's not much of a movie goer, but Doug turned her onto Ghostbusters, which she cannot get enough of.*
* She loves her Scotch. And tries to get others around her to love it too.*
* Once she drinks enough, her accent gets so thick only a Scot could understand her.*

Overview:
Rahne was born somewhere near the Scottish Highlands and grew up in the town of Kinross. From childhood, before her mutancy ever manifested, Rahne was hated. She never knew her mother, and was raised as a ward of the church under the strict fundamentalist Reverend Craig. He was cruel, abusive and gave her little love. At 12, when Rahne discovered (earlier than most mutants) that she could turn into a wolf, Craig even led a torch-carrying mob after Rahne, intent on burning her to death. Converting into a wolf, which she felt as natural in as a human, Rahne ran into the woods and lived amongst a wolf pack for months until she came back to civilization far away from Rev. Craig. She missed her human form and met and was eventually adopted by Moira MacTaggert where she was finally treated with love and affection she'd craved. Later, as more mutants came to Muir Isle, she became a big sister to the kids and discovered a talent and passion for teaching. From then she went to University and got her degrees in teaching, history with minors in Latin and German.

She then moved to Xaviers' School for Gifted Mutants. Rahne taught English and German to the younger classmen. She was also counselor for the incoming students and enjoyed this very much.

She had a phone relationship with Walter Langkowski for a couple months. He was supposed to move back to the school and they were looking forward to trying to take their relationship to the next step. A day before he was getting there, the Timebroker arrived and took her away.
